The goal of the redesign of the Holy Cross Elementary website was to create a simple to use website with easily accessible information. The homepage was designed to encompass all of the information a current parent would need for the week without having to dig through other pages of the site. The implementation of Google Calendar allows parents to be able to add the school calendar to their digital devices seamlessly so they are always up-to-date on their child's week ahead.
Not only was the site designed with current parents in mind, but it was also created for potential parents who are looking for a school to send their children to. The site pages are arranged in a strategic way so that every menu and page has its place that simply just makes sense. This allows potential parents to know exactly where to find an area they are looking for. The website is both simple to use for current parents and a great marketing tool for potential parents.
